Okay, Okay!!!!

Well apparently more people read my blog than I thought. In the last few days, I have got emails, texts, posts and even a phone call asking why I am not blogging. So here goes!

I weighed in and have made it over a milestone for me. I am officially out of the 70's and into the 60's. I lost 5.3 pounds this week after gaining .8 last week. I haven't measured yet this month and I hope to do that in the morning. Between both the kids birthdays in March and preparing for my mom's move, it's been a little crazy.

I am so excited to be fitting into some of the clothes that have been taking up real estate in my closet forever. Travis says my arms and face look so small, so that is nice to hear. Hopefully the birthday cake will be gone soon and I can eliminate that temptation.

I did cardio this morning. 30 minutes on the elliptical. If I remember right, in the beginning of this, I couldn't go 5 minutes! I really can't believe the amount of change that 22 pounds can make to your body, but my knees don't hurt nearly as much.

Since I went over my 20 pound mark, I can go get a massage as my reward. So, Kim, I need an appointment.

Seriously, thanks for reading, it is nice to know you guys missed my blog!

Weigh in results

Another Monday and another weigh in. I lost 3.8 pounds this week. Another Wahoo, but I am getting a little concerned that it is too much right now or maybe my body is just giving me the break that I have worked so hard for. At any rate another 3.8 pounds is awesome and I am quickly approaching my first reward at 20 pounds which is a massage. I can't wait, it will be so nice.

The weather is starting to get nicer and it is easier to be out and active when the weather is nicer. Yesterday, I took Shadow for a great bike ride which she so desperately needed and it was nice that both Christopher and Shadow got tired before me. I even went my fastest mile on the treadmill at 16:32. Every little bit counts, I am hopeful to be out of the 70's next week, but will understand if that is not the case. I have lost a lot of weight in the past 3 weeks!

Weigh In

Wow, I didn't post very well last week. It was spring break and a little stressful. Anyway, I weighed in today and lost... ready....wait for it...are you sure???????????

5.2 pounds this week. Yeah!!!!!!

March, already???

Well, I weighed in again today and finally got a number I was actually excited to post.
4.4 pounds lost this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, I was really excited for that.

Today's workout included 25 minutes on the treadmill, 4 of these minutes were spent running. (2 minutes, walk, then 2 minutes) I haven't even tried running and I couldn't believe that it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be or had been in the past. I could still breathe and talk when I was done. Unbelievable. We also did some abs and stretching.

I also measured for the month and I lost another 4 inches.

I am hopeful that I have hit a turning point, but time will tell.

Workout

What a crazy workout I had today. I started with 27 minutes on the elliptical because my workout buddy was late so I just kept going. It was awful and great at the same time. I can't believe the first time I got on it, I could only go 3 minutes and I was dying. I have come a long way.

Kim (my workout buddy and friend) and I know the trainers at the gym pretty good and they are always giving us advice, whether we want it or not. We did a few ab exercise and I even did walking lunges around the gym. My legs are going to feel that in the morning. All in all, it was a great workout and I am so thankful to have someone that pushes me the way Kim does.

After my workday, we took the kids sledding and had a blast. I even went down the hill on a sled. It was great and now we are all beat and need a nap.

Abs and legs workout- 40 minutes
Treadmill - 27 minutes (1.50 miles)

Weigh In

Another weigh in day has come and gone. Today I was down 1.2 pounds which put me at almost 5 pounds total. I would be happy with that if I didn't have over 100 pounds to lose, but I think 5 pounds in 7 weeks is a little out of whack. Anyway!!!!

I heard from the doctor today and all of my labs are absolutely and completely normal! That is great news but at the same time a little disappointing. I feel like I am back at square one again, but still had a great workout today and will keep going. It is bound to happen sooner or later, right?
