Good Afternoon!
Today was better than yesterday so far and I feel pretty good. I have started a food log to help me keep track of my calories. When you have to write everything down, you make think twice about eating it. I think one of the hardest things is to figure out how much carbs, fat and protein you need at a certain calorie level. Every diet plan tells you something different. I guess I will just try one out and see what works.
I haven't got to the gym yet, but I did use the Wii fit for 40 minutes last night and at least that's something. As soon as school gets back in for the kids, I can get to the gym in the mornings. I am going to start out slow with only cardio to begin with and then I will add weight training in a few weeks.
That's all for today. I will weigh in on Monday and see if I have made any progress.
It's been four weeks?

Way to go girl!
ReplyDeleteAm I annoying giving out so much advice? If I am, tell me to stop and I will. I feel compelled because I have over a year of schooling in now and feel that I actually have useful knowledge to share. I just can't decide if I'm going to be soft and sweet like Bob, are bad ass and hard like Jillian when I get my cert. (:
Keep your cardio level low, so that you can talk but not sing for at least 30 minutes a day, and if you can, start weight training tomorrow, just doing pushups off the counter or lunges until you can get a resistance band or get to the gym. Weight training is more important than cardio, I promise.
As far as your food combining, just try to consciously eat a protein with every carb, and make sure that at least half of your grains are whole. For example, a little cheese with an apple, tuna on whole grain bread, oh wait, no tuna. (:
I love you and I'm so proud of you!
