I went and worked out with a friend today and I can't believe I made it through the hour long workout. I managed to stay on the elliptical for 10 minutes today (barely, I might add), but I know if she hadn't been right next to me, I wouldn't have stayed that long. At any rate, then we started the weight training part of the workout. I am absolutely sure I worked out muscles that have never EVER been worked out before. It's crazy, but I love the feeling after a workout, you can feel every muscle and know they are working. We are trying to commit to 3 days a week together for an hour. The other two days, I am going to do cardio only and try to get me to go 20 minutes or more on the stupid *&%$#@! elliptical.
I slipped a little today eating wise. I have been craving some chocolate and last night I had one piece and I thought that would fix it, but it didn't. I had a super light lunch and forgot my snacks so I was hungry when I went to Target. They happen to have some peanut M&M's that were on sale. When I got in the car, I just started snacking and before I knew it the bag was almost gone. It is bound to happen and I am not going to beat myself up over it, but I thought I should mention it in my blog today. So there you have it, that's my day. If I can still use my arms tomorrow, I will let you know.
It's been four weeks?

I don't see the problem, did you stay within your points limit? I worry about your mentality of being "bad". There is no being bad. Peanut M&M's aren't "bad". There are different foods, foods that taste yummy and satisfy nutritional needs and there are foods that might satisfy an emotional hunger. The problem is when we mis-use this drug and eat a package of Peanut m&m's for breakfast, or eat a package everyday. Does that make sense?
ReplyDeleteBTW, I named the elliptical "Lucy". She is named after the evil of all evils, "Lucifer". I did a quick 30 minutes on her today. Pedal backwards for an awesome gluts workout.
