Okay, so I weighed in this afternoon and I have to say I am a little disappointed in the results this week. I really wanted more that .4 pounds, but I am hopeful for next week. I worked out 4 days and ate really well and I feel great and my leader said that is all that matters. After wanting to punch everyone in the room out, I have decided to let it go and focus on next week.
That is all for today but I think I am going to take my dog for a walk since it is 60 degrees out right now.
Keep the comments coming, I appreciate everything you guys post.
It's been four weeks?

It's ok Step,
ReplyDeleteIt's really not that healty to loose a lot of weight in a one week. Most of the time it's water weight that is the harderst to get rid of. When I first started on WW my body did a really weird thing and one day I kept getting on the scale and I just kept losing more weight in one day! But I gained it all right back after I ate the next day. My mom said it was the water weight. If you eat more veggies (like a LOT of them) and drink lots of water (I know it sounds backwards) it can help bring that water weight down. I was geared up enough to want to go get salad stuff at Costco tonight. I'm tired of the fast food rat race! I'm sure I'll get sick of chewing on salad for a week...but I am determined to at least not let it all go to spoil this time! :P
Plus a perk to you doing the weight training is that when you build more muscle mass it speeds up your metabolism and then it'll do more work in getting rid of the fat. Then the cardio burns the calories fast. So keep up the weight training and it will start working for you down the road! Do you take vitamins? I know that the B vits help speed up your metoblism...and gives you more energy. :) I am a plethora of heath knowledge...I just need to implement it more in my OWN life. :P
Don't give up!
(Sorry about the novel)
Well, %$#!.
ReplyDeleteBefore i sit here and try to give you the it's water weight speech, I just have to say I know that .4 pounds really flippin blows. I was there week 5. I had freakin kicked A that whole week and came up with nothing. I was a little more than pissed.
But the water weight, it really is true. If you can picture a cell of fat getting used, that space doesn't just stay empty and your skin fall into it's place, that area fills up with water. So it takes a bit to flush that water from that area so the rest of your organs and muscle fills in that spot. Does that make sense?
Another thing you have to remember is that it's not week one for you, it's week two/three, which is a hard week for your body.
Just a side note, are you eating all of your points everyday, and following the healthy guidelines. You HAVE to eat all those points every day. And that water is so important so your body doesn't try to hang on to every drop.
Keep it up, you'll have a big loss in the upcoming weeks.
